StuG III/IV commander's cupola (early pattern) 1:35 is a resin accessory for detailing 1:35 models of the German StuG III and StuG IV assault guns.

A resin 1:35 accessory set from PANZER ART. It holds a commander's cupola in the early pattern for the German StuG III and StuG IV assault guns. This is not a model of the vehicle but a detail part that replaces the cupola from the base kit.
The later versions of the StuG III and the StuG IV that followed were given a commander's cupola with vision ports and a hatch for a better view of the battlefield. The cupola was made in several versions, and the early and final patterns differ in detail. The cast resin parts offer sharper detail on the vision ports and the hatch than the usual injection-molded version.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and lightly sand the surfaces, with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The hatch can be fitted open and a commander figure added; the vision ports come to life once they are brought out with a wash.
