An injection-molded plastic kit of the Typhoon-VDV K-4386 with the 32V01 RCWS module in 1:35 scale from RPG Model — a modern Russian airborne wheeled armored vehicle with a remote controlled weapon station.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the modern Russian K-4386 Typhoon-VDV airborne wheeled armored vehicle with the 32V01 remote controlled weapon module (RCWS — remote controlled weapon station). The set contains a metal barrel, photo-etched parts in several frets and a finely rendered exterior. It is a contemporary subject that complements the range of Russian wheeled equipment of recent years.
The K-4386 Typhoon-VDV is a Russian mine-resistant wheeled armored vehicle developed from late 2015 by KAMAZ for the airborne troops (VDV). The design allows for an airdrop by parachute and for protection against small arms and mine blasts. The 32V01 remote controlled weapon station lets the crew fire from the protected space inside the hull without being exposed to enemy fire.
First assemble the chassis, the axles and the lower areas of the hull; fit the metal barrel only at a later stage so that it does not get damaged. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate and the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Apply a primer and spray with an airbrush — modern Russian vehicles most often carry a single protective coat. Emphasize the panel lines with a wash and complete the dust on the fenders and the wheels with pigments. Pick out the optics and the lenses with a drop of gloss clear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
