A kit of plastic bricks and shaped parts that click into each other. The joining system is compatible with common brick kits, and you need neither tools nor any chemicals to build it. The color and lettering features are printed directly on the parts, so the model calls for no additional work and is finished the moment you click the last part in. The Polish manufacturer COBI has long specialized in brick models of transport machinery and historical vehicles.
The Citroen Traction Avant was among the technically boldest cars of its time: it combined a self-supporting all-metal body with front-wheel drive at a time when most of the competition built on a frame and drove the rear axle. The 15CV Six version was the peak of the range - instead of a four-cylinder it had an inline six-cylinder engine of almost 3 liters at work, thanks to which the car found use as a representative and official automobile. The designation D sets the postwar version apart, with an engine whose crankshaft turns in the opposite sense to the older version, which carried the letter G. The long hood, the flowing fenders and the low build of the body make the Traction Avant an easily recognized silhouette.
Work in sections and sort the parts out beforehand - with models of a dense structure that speeds the build up markedly. The joints hold firmly, so the finished car stands up to handling and carrying about and does not fall apart when lifted by the roof. Build on a flat surface, so that the chassis parts seat without strain. The model is displayed with no further work; dust on the finished piece need only be removed now and then with a soft brush.
