This is a resin detail accessory, not a kit. The package contains 10 small insulators of the kind fitted at the base of antennas on German armored vehicles. The set is meant to complete plastic models of German vehicles in 1:35 scale and replaces a feature that is often missing or coarsely done.
German armored vehicles of the Second World War carried rod radio antennas held in an insulator, which separated the antenna electrically from the armor. This small but prominent feature is usually simplified or missing altogether on basic models. The smaller version matches the antennas of lower power classes and smaller vehicles.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent and separate them carefully from the casting blocks. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The antenna rod itself can be added with thin wire or a bristle. The insulator usually stays in a different shade (black rubber) from the base finish of the vehicle, which helps the detail read.
The set contains resin parts only. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
