Black Dog 1:35 Ukrainian soldier No. 4 is a resin figure of a modern Ukrainian soldier in 1:35 scale, intended for dioramas and for rounding out vehicle models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure of a modern Ukrainian soldier in 1:35 scale from Black Dog. It is an accessory, not a vehicle kit: it adds human scale to a finished model, and a whole scene can be built around it. It is cast in modeling resin, which picks up even the fine texture of the gear and of the cloth surface.
The subject is a soldier in current field gear. The 1:35 scale is the standard for models of ground vehicles, so the figure can be combined without changes with vehicles, artillery and groundwork accessories in the same scale. The pose and the equipment are set by the particular casting.
Before assembly, wash the parts in water with detergent and let them dry thoroughly. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and sand the remains down with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Modern field patterns are painted in layers: the base tone first, then the individual blotches with a fine brush, and finally lightened edges and dust on the lower parts. With current gear it is worth keeping the pattern restrained, because too much contrast looks unnatural in 1:35 scale. Even out the finish at the end with a matte varnish.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
