A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from Art Scale. It brings markings for early Curtiss Hawk 81-A-2 fighters, that is the P-40B version, in American service in Hawaii. This is not a model of an aircraft but a set of color schemes for models of the Curtiss P-40B in 1:48 scale.
The Hawk 81-A-2 is an early version of the famous Curtiss P-40 fighter with a V12 engine. The set concentrates on the aircraft of the American squadrons stationed at the Hawaiian airfields at the time of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. It covers several specific aircraft from that dramatic day.
The model of the aircraft itself is not included in the package. Decals are not a kit.
