A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for the Alpha Jet E with markings of the Belgian and French air forces. The third part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet for a model of the two-seat Alpha Jet jet trainer and light attack aircraft in the E version, with markings of the Belgian and French air forces. It is the third part of the series; it is followed by further parts and by a version for the larger scale, each under its own code.
In 1:72 scale the model is small and the markings on it matter a great deal; often they are the only thing that tells two otherwise identical machines apart. A separate sheet gives a wider choice than the decals supplied with a kit and is usually printed more finely, so even small lettering stays legible.
Before you wet the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is an adhesive version; wetted adhesive film cannot be saved. With a waterslide decal, prepare the base with gloss varnish. Cut the element out close to the print, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it releases from the paper. Move it onto the model, line it up, blot the excess water away and let it dry thoroughly. A decal softener will pull the decal down into recessed lines. Finally, seal the model with a matte varnish so that the gloss area around the markings disappears.
The box holds a decal sheet. The model, paints, varnishes and decal softener are not included, unless stated otherwise.
