Badges of the Soviet defense societies and the youth league in 1:10 will extend civilian and rear-area figures with a period-accurate detail on their clothing.
Responsibility details are not available.
This sheet from Quinta Studio concentrates on the badges worn in the Soviet Union by members of defense and physical training societies and of the organized youth between the 1930s and the 1940s. It is an accessory for figures, not a model in its own right.
Interwar defense societies of the Osoaviakhim type gathered the civilian population around shooting, flying and physical training. Their insignia were worn on a jacket, on a shirt and on work clothing and were an ordinary part of the civilian look of the day. The youth organization had its own symbol, which appeared even on figures entirely outside a military setting.
In 1:10 scale a figure usually takes the form of a bust or a large figure, and every small thing on the lapel is easy to read. All the more reason to deal with it using a finished part instead of painting freehand.
Builders of civilian and rear-area subjects, collectors of busts in 1:10 scale and everyone who wants to place a figure in the 1930s more precisely than by the color of the clothing and the cut of the coat alone.
