1:100 Carro Veloce CV.33 I Series is a resin model of the Italian tankette in the form of the first production series.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small resin model of the Italian tracked vehicle in the form it had right at the start of production. The 1:100 scale is an established format for tabletop battles, where tankettes make up fast units of low points value. Because of the dimensions, the assembly is for more experienced builders rather.
The Italian tankettes followed on from the British Carden Loyd design and from 1933 were built in large numbers. The first series differed from the later ones mainly in armament, because it carried a single machine gun of six and a half millimeters caliber; only the following forms received a pair of weapons of larger caliber. The machine weighed only a few tons, had a crew of two and its armor withstood infantry bullets at most. Even so, a great quantity of them was built and it appeared on practically every front where Italy fought.
Before gluing, check whether the casting does not have deformed tracks; a slight twist can be straightened in warm water. Dose the drop of glue with a toothpick, so that it does not run into the engraving. Italian green and the sand shades of North African service alike offer interesting possibilities; suggest the transitions between the patches lightly and without sharp edges. At the end, accentuate the rivets by drybrushing.
The package contains unglued and unpainted resin parts. Acquire the necessary glue and paints separately.
