A resin model of the French truck Renault AHR in 1:100 scale from the brand Zebrano. For advanced builders of small equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
This cast set from the brand Zebrano captures the heaviest member of the Renault AH line of trucks. The 1:100 scale is at home on gaming tables and in small display tableaux, where a whole column is to be apparent at first glance. The resin parts call for a different procedure from plastic, so the model is best recommended to more experienced modelers.
The Renault AHR was the most powerful version of the AH family, with a payload of around five tons. It entered service with the French army at the beginning of 1940, that is, only a few months before the defeat of France. Production did not end with that, however: under German administration it continued for further years and the vehicles served in the rear areas of the Wehrmacht practically until the end of the war. In photographs from the roads of the day the AHR therefore appears with French and with German national markings alike.
First rid the parts of mold release agent with a lukewarm bath with detergent, or the coat of paint will not hold. Level the remains of the casting faces under the chassis on abrasive paper laid on glass. Join the cab and the cargo bed with cyanoacrylate glue in small drops and bring the tarpaulin of the bed to life with a weak wash, which will pick the folds out. A dusty cast with pigment will seat the vehicle into the terrain.
The vehicle is sold unassembled and without paint, and the necessary chemicals have to be bought separately.
