A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale for the B-25J Mitchell bomber, the third part of the series.
Responsibility details are not available.
Decals in 1:48 scale for the twin-engine B-25J Mitchell bomber. This is the third part of a series that the maker devoted to American machines of this type in the Mediterranean area; among other things the set carries the material for the machine with the nickname Bitch N Mitch.
Personal markings and nicknames belonged to the Mitchells just as much as national insignia did, and it is precisely they that turn a model into a particular machine instead of a general type. The division into several parts makes it possible to choose the set according to which machine you want to build.
Prepare the area under the decal with gloss varnish, because on a matte surface air gets caught under the carrier film and the decal silvers. Separate the decal together with its backing, soak it and let it rest until it starts to slide by itself. Place it with a damp brush, draw the surplus water off and use a softener if need be. Once it has dried, go over the model with varnish according to the degree of sheen you want.
For the modeler who is building a B-25J in 1:48 scale and wants to set his machine apart from the others. Work with a decal is simple, but it calls for patience and a cleanly prepared base.
This is an accessory set. A kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
