A set of self-adhesive painting masks from HAD Models for models of the two-seat Sukhoi Su-27UB fighter in 1:72 scale. The masks are pre-cut into the shapes of the modern digital (pixel) camouflage and serve to make the intricate color scheme come out with the sharp edges that are nearly impossible to reach freehand. By uncovering the individual fields step by step you get accurate boundaries between the shades. It is not a kit but an accessory for painting.
The Su-27UB is the two-seat combat trainer version of the Sukhoi Su-27 heavy fighter, with a tandem cockpit and full combat capability. In service with the Ukrainian Air Force it carries a striking digital camouflage of small geometric fields. The longer glazing of the two-seat cockpit makes painting the scheme even more demanding.
Clean the model and apply the base shade. Apply the masks step by step according to the scheme, press the edges down and spray in thin coats so that paint does not run under. Work from the lighter to the darker tones and peel the mask off while the paint is still fresh.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package. This is a painting aid for spraying camouflage.
