The AA/Fuel designation refers to the class of dragsters that run on a special fuel and are among the most powerful cars in the whole sport. In construction it is an extreme: a very long and slender frame, narrow front wheels serving only to steer, massive driving wheels at the rear and a completely exposed drivetrain. A run lasts a few seconds and the whole car is subordinated to it, including the drag chute. For a modeler such a subject is interesting precisely for the exposed machinery, which there is nowhere to hide.
Assemble the frame on a flat surface and let it cure before you add the wheels, or the model will not stand. Glue with thin polystyrene cement with a capillary action. Paint the exposed engine and transmission separately and before the final assembly; pick out the metal surfaces and add a dark wash, so the detail comes out. A black body is demanding on the preparation of the surface, because every scratch shows on it, so sand the surface carefully before painting and use a filler primer. You will achieve the gloss with a clear coat in several thin coats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
