Responsibility details are not available.
A kit figure in 1:35 scale from a range whose subject is leading prisoners away from the battlefield. The subject is a captured German NCO in the period of 1944 to 1945. It is not a kit of equipment, nor a finished painted figure, but an item to assemble and paint. The figure is conceived as the counterpart of the escorting soldier, which is a separate item, so a whole scene can be put together from both sides of the range.
A prisoner in a diorama turns a static arrangement into a story, because the viewer sees the relationship between the figures at once. This figure stands for the disarmed side, and its conception differs from combat figures in its posture and in the fact that armament plays no part. Check the particular unit and the items of equipment on the box.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. Cut off the mold seams and the casting marks with a sharp knife and polish them with fine sandpaper. Try the assembly dry and plan how the figure will stand in relation to the rest of the scene. Apply a base coat before painting. Build the uniform by layering, through a darker wash into the folds and a lighter highlight on the edges. Suggest dirt and dust sparingly on the boots and the lower parts, because a prisoner after a fight should not be clean. Paint the face last and unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
