This is an acrylic modeling paint from the AK interactive brand. It has a satin, that is semi-gloss, finish and it carries the name of the shade directly in its name: Galaxy Green. According to the name it belongs to the green group; judge the exact tone against the manufacturer's color chart or against a painted test sample.
The paint is part of the numbered Dual Exo range, specifically number 13 in variant A. The range is built in pairs: under the same number the manufacturer also makes variant 13B, both as a separate bottle and as a dual set with both paints together. Here you are buying one bottle, variant A.
Satin lies between flat and gloss. The coat has a fine, muted sheen, so it does not look as dry as a purely flat paint, but neither does it look as toylike as a high gloss, and shapes read well on the model. A semi-gloss finish is moreover more rewarding when applying decals than a coarse flat one, under which air easily stays trapped beneath a decal. You can unify the resulting degree of sheen with a clear coat at the end.
The paint suits modelers who work with acrylic and want the degree of sheen under control from the base coat onwards. It comes into use on figures, science fiction and fantasy subjects, scenic accessories and ordinary scale models, where a pure flat or a full gloss would not fit. If you are building a series and want to keep a consistent look, it is useful to know that a second shade, variant 13B, also belongs to number 13 in the range.
Store the paint firmly closed, dry and out of the reach of children. Work in a ventilated space and use protection for your airways when spraying. Follow the figures for volume, thinning, drying and safety given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
