DUAL EXO SCENERY – 22B – DARK STONE 60ML.

Dark Stone, an AK interactive acrylic paint, 60 ml

An acrylic modeling paint of the AK interactive brand. The title carries the designation of the scenic subline Dual Exo Scenery, the name of the shade Dark Stone and the volume of 60 ml. It dries to a satin coat.

Why a satin finish and not flat

The degree of sheen is not a cosmetic detail but a technical parameter of a coat. Full flat absorbs light and optically flattens a surface, so the shape gets lost on it. High gloss does exactly the opposite: it emphasizes every irregularity and reflects when photographed. Satin stands between them: it lets the modeling of the surface show without drawing sharp reflections, and at the same time it gives a smoother base on which further layers are easier to work. The final degree of sheen can be adjusted with a clear coat anyway.

Use

• Mix the bottle thoroughly before work.
• Clean and degrease the surface beforehand and let it dry.
• Apply the paint in thin coats, with a brush or an airbrush.
• A semi-gloss surface is a rewarding base for the further modeling steps.
• The final degree of sheen is fine-tuned with a clear coat to your own idea.
• The data on thinning and drying are on the label.

Who the paint is for

For modelers working on scenic bases and dioramas who need to add a particular shade from the AK interactive range. The volume of 60 ml matches the fact that more paint is used on scenic areas than on a kit itself.

When spraying, provide ventilation and protect your airways. Close the bottle after use, store out of the reach of children and observe the instructions and safety symbols on the label.
