Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French supersonic strategic bomber Dassault Mirage IVP in 1:72 scale from the maker A and A Models. The box corresponds to the upgraded IVP version as a carrier of a guided missile and contains the large ASMP missile under the fuselage with its booster rockets, modified airframe surfaces, painting masks and decals for several marking variants. In 1:72 scale it is a long, elegant model with a delta wing.
The Mirage IV was a supersonic strategic bomber with a delta wing which became the first carrier of French nuclear weapons when it entered service in the middle of the 1960s. The IVP version was the upgrade for carrying the ASMP air-to-ground guided missile with a nuclear warhead and for modified avionics. The crew of two sat in tandem; the aircraft was famous for its high speed and its range. It was powered by a pair of afterburning turbojet engines.
First finish and paint the cockpit; mask the glazing with the masks enclosed. Assemble the large ASMP missile and its pylon carefully and fit them only after the underside of the fuselage has been painted. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement and sand the long joints of the fuselage and the leading edges of the delta wing. Build metallic and light finishes on a smooth base; lay the decals on a gloss clear and emphasize the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
