A plastic kit of the Vickers 6-Ton light tank in the Alt B version with full interior equipment, in the Finnish version designated T-26E, in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Vickers 6-Ton, also known as the Vickers Mark E, was a British light tank of the interwar period. It was exported to a number of countries and in several of them it became the starting point for their own armored hardware. The version designated Alt B carried a single rotating turret. The Finnish army took these vehicles into service and after rearming them used the designation T-26E for them.
A kit of the light tank in 1:35 scale with full interior equipment. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The modeled interior fills out the space that stays empty with simpler kits, so it pays to lay the build out so that as much of it as possible is visible on the finished model. The number of parts, the extent of the decals and the marking options offered are stated in the maker's instructions.
The inside is assembled and painted before the hull is closed up; once both halves are joined, a brush will no longer reach inside. It proves itself to paint the interior surfaces in a light shade, to highlight the edges and the small equipment and only then to carry on with the outside. Try the parts dry and join them with glue for plastic models. Prime the outer surface before painting, so that the shade behaves the same on plastic and on filled spots.
The kit is intended for modelers with experience of building armored hardware who want to show the inside of the vehicle as well, and for anyone interested in interwar designs and their later use.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
