The larger base of the range

A wooden base under a model on display, in the 13.5 x 14 size, the larger of the two formats the Pine range offers. The longer side suits anywhere a model would overhang the edge of a smaller base, typically with long fuselages, with vehicles towing a trailer or with a pair of figures standing side by side.

What kind of goods it is

The base is made of wood. The shape carries the designation Hollow Oak; alongside it the range runs the Classic, Standard and Concave shapes and a second shade, Wenge. A collection can therefore be brought to one look across models of different sizes.

Seating the model and caring for the surface

Before you attach the model, lay it out dry and check that a clear margin remains all the way round. For fixing it, double-sided tape, a drop of glue under the contact surfaces or a pin led through from below suits according to the weight. Keep the finished assembly dry and out of direct sunlight, and wipe dust off with a soft cloth. Thinners and aggressive cleaners do not belong on the surface; they could attack the surface finish.
