The Aero L-29 Delfin was a Czechoslovak jet trainer with a two-seat cockpit in tandem, designed as a simple and rugged machine for basic and advanced training. Besides training, some machines could be armed with stores on wing pylons, which was used both for training in the use of armament and for light combat duties with a number of users.
Wash the parts first in warm soapy water, so that no mold release agent is left on the surface to keep the paint from adhering. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife, not with pliers — small parts are liable to crack. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for gluing; ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Apply a primer before painting, which unifies the different materials. Check before you buy that the stores match your own kit and the spacing of its pylons — accuracy of fit is crucial with accessories.
