A detail set for sharpening the exterior appearance of a model of the giant An-225 Mriya cargo aircraft in 1:144 scale. It combines etched brass parts with resin ones that replace simplified parts of the plastic model with finer and more faithful detail. It is an accessory for An-225 models, not the kit itself.
The An-225 Mriya was the largest and heaviest aircraft in the world - a six-engined cargo giant originally built to carry the Buran space shuttle. The single completed example with its characteristic twin vertical tail became a legend of long-range outsize cargo transport.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them over a ruler or in a bending tool; wash the resin parts first to remove any mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Bond everything with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
