This kit from Zvezda represents the four-engine Boeing 747-8 airliner as a static model in 1:144 scale. The box holds injection-molded plastic parts, clear glazing sections, decals and a display stand for the finished model.
The Boeing 747-8 is the last and at the same time the longest development series of the famous Jumbo Jet. Compared with the older versions it received a stretched fuselage, a new and more fuel-efficient turbofan powerplant and reworked wings. It was built in the Intercontinental passenger version as well as in freighter form, and it ranks among the most distinctive civil airliners of its era.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. The large fuselage and wing surfaces are worth spraying with an airbrush over a primer coat, because white airline schemes need a smooth and even finish. Mask the glazing and the color transitions, and apply the decals over a gloss clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
