An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from the Czech maker Mark I Models representing the strike and reconnaissance versions of the Mirage III in the colors of European users. The modern tooling has a fine surface and a clear canopy. The decals offer several marking options for machines operated in Europe, so you can pick a particular aircraft.
The Mirage III was a French supersonic fighter with a delta wing that became one of the most successful Western second-generation fighters. The IIIE version was a multi-role strike aircraft, the RS was a reconnaissance machine and the 5BA was a simplified strike variant; these aircraft served with a number of European air forces. The delta wing gave the aircraft excellent performance at high altitude and at high speed.
Dry-fit the parts, use thin cement on the plastic and glue the clear canopy with canopy glue. In a small scale a fine coat from an airbrush over a primer shows to advantage. Apply the decals onto a gloss coat to avoid silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
