The de Havilland Sea Venom FAW.22 / 53 / TT.53 1:144 is a plastic kit of the British carrier-based all-weather fighter with schemes for the Far East and Australia, packaged as two models.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Sea Venom carrier-based all-weather fighter in 1:144 scale from the Czech maker Mark I Models. The package is conceived as two models (2 in 1) and offers markings for the variants used in the Far East and in Australia, including the training and target-towing version.
The Sea Venom was the naval version of the Venom, adapted for operations from aircraft carriers. It was a two-seat all-weather fighter with a characteristic twin-boom tail that served with the British and friendly navies in the 1950s. The Australian FAW.53 version and the target-towing TT.53 widen the choice of schemes beyond the Royal Navy.
In the small 1:144 scale, pay attention to clean deburring of the small parts and to thin application of the paint, so that the panel lines are not lost. It is a good idea to polish the clear canopy before building; apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and lay the decals onto a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
