The GAZ-AA Soviet cargo truck is a small plastic kit in 1:144 scale from Armory, supplemented with photo-etched parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet GAZ-AA cargo truck of the Second World War in the small 1:144 scale. The model is supplemented by a photo-etched part for the fine detail. Thanks to the small scale it is a compact model suitable for dioramas, for the gaming table and for a collector's display case.
The GAZ-AA, nicknamed poltorka (one and a half tons), was the most widespread Soviet cargo truck of the 1930s and 1940s, built under a Ford license. It served to carry soldiers and materiel and as the chassis for a range of special bodies. It was simple, easy to repair and became a symbol of Soviet logistics during the war.
In a very small scale work with a sharp scalpel and glue with a light touch; fit the photo-etched parts with super glue. Apply a thin coat of primer before painting. A uniform green suits the Soviet look; a light wash brings out detail that would otherwise be lost in a small scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
