The Lavochkin LaGG-3 1:144 from Zvezda is an easy snap-fit kit of the Soviet fighter of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet fighter LaGG-3 in 1:144 scale, executed as an easy snap-fit set. The parts fit together with no need for glue, so even a beginner or a younger modeler can build the model. A display stand is usually included too. Treat the exact contents of the box as indicative.
The LaGG-3 was one of the first modern Soviet fighters committed in the opening phase of the Second World War. Its airframe was largely of wooden construction, it was well armed, but pilots reproached it for its greater weight and more demanding handling. Even so it played an important role before more capable types of the La line replaced it.
Thanks to the snap-fit execution the model can be put together dry and without glue, although a drop of cement for plastic will make the joint firmer. We recommend taking the model apart into its main sections before painting. Even a small model comes out best with a base primer, an airbrush and fine highlighting of the panels. Soviet green and brown camouflage schemes are good for practicing painting.
The model is supplied unassembled. Paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
