A resin set of wheels for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 version G in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory that replaces the plastic wheels during the build. Among other things, version G differs from the early machines in exactly those landing gear wheels, so it is right to use a set intended for this version. According to the name the package contains two sets.
The cast wheels are in a single piece, with no mold parting line running through the tread, and they keep a crisp transition between the hub and the tire. In 1:144 scale this is one of the few details that is genuinely visible when looking at a model normally, so the swap has a noticeable effect on the overall impression. The model also sits on its base better.
Before building, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry, which removes the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off and level the flat with a file, protecting your breathing when sanding resin. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, because ordinary cement for plastic does not work here. Apply a primer, spray the tire in dark gray rather than black and paint the hub in with a brush or separate it with masking fluid.
It is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
