Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks from the brand Peewit intended for painting a plastic model of the Messerschmitt Me-262 A jet fighter in the small 1:144 scale. It is not a kit and not a finished model: these are painting masks that reliably cover the frames of the cockpit glazing and the areas that are to stay clear while the paint is sprayed. At such a small scale, where edging the frames by brush is difficult, die-cut masks are especially useful. The masks are shaped to fit a particular kit of this aircraft.
The Messerschmitt Me-262 was a German twin-jet aircraft and the first jet fighter in the world to go into combat. It was powered by two Junkers Jumo 004 turbine engines in nacelles under the wing, and thanks to its high speed it was a hard opponent to catch at the end of the Second World War. The A version was the basic fighter variant.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
