1:144 MiG-15 photo-etched set is an accessory made of etched sheet for a model of the MiG-15 fighter in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit: the set is cut for one particular kit, the Attack Hobby one, and assumes you already have it.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Brengun, meant for detailing the MiG-15 fighter scaled to 1:144. It is an aftermarket accessory, not a model: on its own it will not add up to an aircraft, and it belongs to the kit the product name states.
Injected plastic has a technological minimum thickness. In 1:144 scale that means parts which should be paper-thin on the real aircraft, such as bulkheads, grilles, internal bracing and the faces of instrument panels, come out of the mold disproportionately thick and look coarse on a model. Etched sheet sidesteps that problem: it has a real thickness in tenths of a millimeter and its surface detail is etched into it rather than molded.
Cut the parts out of the fret on a hard surface with a sharp knife or with special scissors; twisting deforms the metal. Bending is done in a bending tool or between two razor blades, always against an edge and never between your fingers. A stiffer piece can be softened by brief warming over a flame: the metal anneals and stops springing back. Degreasing is essential before gluing and painting, because there is usually a thin film on etched parts from manufacture. They are bonded with super glue applied on the tip of a wire, and on larger areas a slower gel type is an advantage, as it leaves time for seating. Paint holds on photo-etched parts only over a primer.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
