1:144 Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki - a canopy mask from Dead Design for spraying the frames of the cabin precisely even in the smallest of the usual scales.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely die-cut masking template from the maker Dead Design for spraying the frames of the canopy on a model of the fighter Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki in 1:144 scale. The frames of the cabin are only fractions of a millimeter wide in this scale and painting them by hand is practically impossible - the mask secures perfectly sharp lines with no overruns and with no scratching of the clear part.
The Nakajima Ki-44 Shoki, Tojo by the Allied code, was an interceptor of the Japanese army. Unlike its more agile contemporaries it staked everything on a powerful radial engine, high speed and a steep rate of climb - the qualities needed to catch bombers. It made its mark most of all in the air defense of the Japanese home islands at the close of the war.
The mask is intended for builders in 1:144 scale who want a cleanly framed cabin even on a miniature model - the detail that lifts a small model immediately.
This is a painting mask, that is an accessory to a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
