The small scale brings with it a compact range of parts and clear elements for the glazing of the cabin and the fuselage. The decal sheet offers several forms of machines in combat service. The model is meant to be glued together and painted.
The Sikorsky H-34 was a piston-engine utility helicopter with its characteristic high-set engine in the nose and a roomy fuselage. It served to carry troops, for recovery work and for liaison tasks with a number of air arms, and it proved itself in several conflicts. Its rugged structure and large cargo compartment made it a reliable workhorse that saw wide international service.
In 1:144 scale take care over clean sanding of the parting lines and careful gluing of the tiny parts. Glue the clear elements with a non-fogging adhesive. Spraying with an airbrush over a primer helps keep the fine detail; settle the decals onto gloss varnish. We recommend adding the landing gear and the rotor only after the fuselage has been painted.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
