The M1070 is a heavy American military truck with all-wheel drive, powered by a powerful diesel engine. It was originally used as the tractor of heavy transporter combinations, but the rugged chassis also served for other purpose-built bodies. The vehicle is a typical example of heavy US Army logistic equipment.
With a large vehicle it pays to work in subassemblies: first the chassis with the axles and the wheels, then the cab and the body. Use liquid cement for plastic on the joints, a primer and an airbrush for an even coat. Washes and pigments create the weathering, bringing out the structure and suggesting the look of service wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
