A detailed resin imitation of the American steel M1 helmet, the iconic helmet of US soldiers from the Second World War on. It is a separate accessory made by 3D printing in resin by the Czech manufacturer Firma49 in 1:16 scale, ideal as a more accurate replacement for a figure's helmet or as an item laid loose in a scene.
The two-part M1 helmet with an outer steel shell and an inner liner served the American army for whole decades and became one of the most recognizable items of gear. This detail faithfully captures the shape of the shell and the rim in a large scale, where even fine execution stands out.
Wash the part, separate it from the print supports and clean it up gently with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue. Paint the helmet in matte olive green, add surface texture, drybrushing and rubbed edges; nets, bands or insignia can be refined according to the particular service.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
