Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin figure in the large 1:16 scale from the Czech maker MN-hobby. It represents a member of the Czechoslovak 29th Infantry Regiment attached to a defense battalion of the Straz obrany statu, the State Defense Guard, caught in a firing pose. The larger scale allows an exceptionally detailed treatment of the face, the uniform and the weapons.
The Straz obrany statu, the State Defense Guard, was an armed body defending the Czechoslovak border regions in the second half of the 1930s. The soldiers of the infantry regiments attached to it wore the uniforms and carried the weapons of the period, which this figure renders faithfully. The figure works as a display piece in its own right and in larger historical scenes.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The large scale comes into its own with gradual shading of the face, with the details of the uniform painted in oils or acrylics and with the textures picked out lightly.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
