An unpainted plastic figure of Feldmarschall Rommel (Africa Corps) in 1:16 scale from Tamiya.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure of the German field marshal Erwin Rommel from the fighting in North Africa, in the large 1:16 scale from Tamiya. It is one large figure, unassembled and unpainted. The 1:16 size leaves plenty of room for careful painting of the face, the uniform and the details. The box states the exact parts breakdown.
Erwin Rommel was a German field marshal of the Second World War who commanded the Afrika Korps in the North African campaign from 1941 to 1943. The figure shows him in the field uniform used in Africa, with the typical accessories including dust goggles. He is standing and wears the marks of his rank, such as collar tabs and decorations.
The large scale puts the emphasis on smooth joints and clean seams, above all on the face. Build the skin up in layers from a darker base to light highlights, and take your time over the eyes and the shadows of the face. Unify the uniform with a base tone, then bring out the folds and the accessories. Leave the clear goggle parts transparent or tint them lightly.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
