An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2 in 1:48 scale from Zvezda. The box contains injection-molded plastic, clear parts for the canopy and decals for period German markings.
The Bf 109F, nicknamed the Friedrich, was the aerodynamically refined development stage of the famous German fighter. The F-2 version, committed from 1941, brought cleaner shapes and better flying qualities than the older variants. The leading German fighter units flew it on several battlefields and many pilots considered it one of the most pleasant versions of the type to fly.
Take care to seat the canopy cleanly and to join the wings to the fuselage properly. Glue with cement for plastic, and fill and sand the seams. Apply primer before airbrushing; for the typical schemes, gray-green upper surfaces and a light underside with mottling and panel highlighting work well. Apply the decals over a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
