1:16 German 7,5 cm Pak 40 Ammo Boxes w/Shells Set

1:16 Ammunition boxes with shells for the 7.5 cm Pak 40, an add-on set (Gecko Models)

This is not a kit of the gun but an add-on set for dioramas. It contains transport ammunition boxes and realistically rendered rounds of 7.5 cm caliber, both complete shells ready for use and fired cartridge cases. A small decal sheet with the markings of the boxes is included. The set is intended to bring a scene with the German 7.5 cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun to life in 1:16 scale.

The real subject

The 7.5 cm Pak 40 was the standard German anti-tank gun of the Second World War. Around its position ammunition boxes and discarded cartridge cases piled up, and it is exactly these features that make a combat scene believable.

Use and tips

• Arranging the boxes and rounds around the gun or in the crew's shelter.
• The boxes take being picked out with a wash and with drybrushing, and the brass of the cartridge cases with metallic shades.
• Apply the decals onto a smooth surface gone over with a clear coat.

Who the set is for

• For builders of large-scale dioramas (1:16).
• For modelers completing artillery scenes.
• For lovers of detail and of a story in a scene.

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the model of the gun are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
