German Afrika Korps vol.I 1:16 (MH Models)

A set of self-adhesive paint masks from the Czech maker MH Models for spraying the signs and markings of the German Afrika Korps onto models in 1:16 scale. The masks are cut accurately from a thin adhesive film and serve to reach crisp, clean motifs by spraying alone, with no decals. The vol.I designation marks the first part of a range devoted to these period markings.

Use

• Move the mask onto a degreased, painted and dry base coat.
• Press the edges of the cut shapes down thoroughly so that no paint runs under the mask.
• Lay on several thin coats of paint with an airbrush.
• Take the mask off while the paint is still fresh, for the crispest edge.

Who the set is for

Suited to modelers building large models of German vehicles of the North African campaign in 1:16 scale who want accurate, repeatable unit markings. Beginners and the advanced will both manage it.

The masks are an aid to spraying, not a paint. Paints, thinners and an airbrush are not included in the package.
