Rear wheels with a flat tire for the early Opel Blitz, the type 1 rendition, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of wheels for the driven axle with a deformed tire, matching the early production state. On trucks the rear wheels differ from the front ones not only in load but also in arrangement, so they deserve a solution of their own.
The rear axle of a truck carries most of the weight of the load, and it is therefore usually fitted with a pair of wheels side by side. The tires there deflect more markedly than at the front and at the same time mud packs between them, from where it is hard to get out. For a model that means it is precisely the rear wheels that carry the largest part of the story of where the vehicle has been.
Builders of supply equipment and makers of scenes on a muddy track. On a loaded vehicle deflected rear tires look natural and give a scene weight without anything else having to be added.
The difference between an empty and a loaded vehicle is most strikingly visible on the rear axle. Under a full bed the tires spread out to the sides and the vehicle drops noticeably, which changes the whole silhouette of the vehicle. Anyone building a vehicle with a load should adapt the height of the bed above the base to that too.
There are wheels in the package, and the vehicle itself is sold separately.
