1:16 Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) Ausf. E/F is a large plastic kit of the light tank of Czechoslovak design in German service, from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The 1:16 scale gives the model respectable dimensions and plenty of room for detail.

A kit of the light 38(t) tank in the Ausf. E/F version in 1:16 scale. This is one of the largest scales for models of vehicles and suits builders who want a model as a display piece rather than as part of a collection. Larger parts mean more comfortable work with detail, but at the same time they make greater demands on the cleanliness of the surface and on the painting — at this size every imperfection is clearly visible.
The subject is a light tank developed in Czechoslovakia at the end of the 1930s, which after 1939 entered German service under the designation Pz.Kpfw. 38(t). Characteristic features are the riveted construction of the hull and turret, leaf-spring suspension with large road wheels, and a main armament of 37 mm caliber supplemented by machine guns. The Ausf. E and F versions were among the later production variants with thicker armor; they are so close in design that model manufacturers commonly treat them as a single variant. The chassis of this design later became the basis for a range of other vehicles.
