Decals in 1:16 scale for the light PzKpfw I Ausf A tank with the markings of Pz.Abt z.b.V. 40 in Norway, of Croatian vehicles and of vehicles from the Spanish Civil War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of decals in 1:16 scale for a model of the light PzKpfw I tank in the Ausf A version. Three different settings are given in the name: the unit Pz.Abt z.b.V. 40 in Norway, vehicles in Croatia and service in the Spanish Civil War. These are markings on their own for a finished model, not a kit.
The PzKpfw I Ausf A was the first German tank built in series in the 1930s. It was a small two-man machine with a rotating turret fitted with two machine guns and no cannon, with an air-cooled engine housed at the right rear and a short hull with four road wheels per side. Originally it was meant to serve mainly for training and as a transitional type, but in all three of the conflicts named it appeared in combat service, usually in a reconnaissance and escort role.
Because the sheet covers more than one setting at once, it is a good idea to choose one particular variant in advance and stick to it in the painting as well. Coat the surface under the design with a gloss varnish, so that the edge of the film does not stand out, and once it is dry use a softener. In 1:16 scale the markings are large enough to be lined up accurately against the edges of the superstructure.
The set is an accessory to a model. The supplies for applying and finishing it are not enclosed.
