Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set from the brand WEIKERT DECALS in 1:16 scale, tied to the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank and to the markings given in the name as the 119th Tank Regiment, the year 1944. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit: the decals are applied to a finished, painted surface.
The T-34/85 is the late version of the Soviet medium tank with a larger three-man turret and an 85 mm gun. The surface of the real vehicles was markedly uneven: the cast turret has a rough texture, the hull visible welds. That is the hardest base for decals to be found on a model, and in 1:16 scale that texture is faithfully visible. Precisely for that reason it pays to give the preparation more time than at small scales.
Start with the sheet itself. Cut the decal out as close to the design as possible, so that a minimum of clear film is left; every needless millimeter of rim gives itself away on a rough surface with its sheen. A sharp scalpel and a fresh blade matter more here than any chemistry. Soak the cut-out decal for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest on a paper towel until the backing releases by itself. Spray the area on the model with gloss varnish in advance and moisten it before laying, so that the decal can be moved. The position is fine-tuned with a soft brush, and the excess water is drawn off with a cloth from the center toward the edges.
The package contains decals. The model, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
