This is a resin accessory, not a model or a figure: the helmet of a tank crew in 1:16 scale. The number three in the name marks the third variant in the numbered range from the same manufacturer. In a large scale the casting brings out detail that the smaller scales cannot carry: the division of the shell, the chin straps and the inner padding.

Use

• The accessory can be put on a figure, or used on its own: in an open hatch, on the turret, on a fender, on a seat or among the crew's equipment.
• Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry thoroughly, otherwise paint will not hold on the mold release residue.
• Cut the casting block off with something to spare, with a saw or a scalpel, and sand the area; resin parts are not broken off.
• Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, as cement for plastic does not work here.
• Sand wet and with your breathing protected; do not inhale the fine resin dust.
• After the primer, work with shades: a base tone, a darker wash in the grooves and a lighter touch on the high points of the shell will give a small object depth.

Who the accessory is for

For modelers of the large scales, collectors and authors of dioramas who tell the story of a scene through detail. A helmet laid aside tends to be just that small element which gives a scene a human dimension without a whole figure having to enter it.

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. A figure, a vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
