The real subject

The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX was one of the most successful British fighter aircraft of the Second World War. It came about as an answer to German fighters with a more powerful engine, and thanks to two-stage supercharging it kept its advantage at greater altitudes. The version with the c wing carried the universal armament. The glazing of its cockpit has pronounced, clearly readable framing.

Use

• Lift the items from the sheet with tweezers and stick them onto clean, degreased glazing.
• Press the edges of the masks carefully against the frames, so that the paint does not run under them.
• Spray the color of the framing, and once it is dry the final outer shade.
• Remove the masks while the paint is still fresh.
