A small accessory set for modelers who build the German vehicles of the Pz.Kpfw III series in the G to N versions and the Pz.Kpfw IV in the A to G versions in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but a replacement for the ventilator covers on the roof of the hull and of the turret. According to the name the set is enough for four vehicles, so it suits anyone who has several models part-built or who is building a group scene.
The ventilator covers are clearly visible on the upper surface of the hull and on the turret roof, but it is precisely on them that kits commonly give you blunt edges and, above all, indistinct screw heads around the perimeter. A replacement part with a rendered rim and readable screw heads lifts the impression of the whole top view of a model, which is the first thing a viewer looks over. The set is addressed to the versions stated, so you do not have to deal with adapting shapes.
Sand or carefully cut the original cover off the kit and level the surface with abrasive paper, so that the new part sits without a gap. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before gluing and let them dry. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, ideally applied with a pin, so that the glue does not fill the engraving around the screws. Before spraying, make sure that the part is exactly on the centerline of the vehicle. At the end it works well to bring the rim out with a dark panel-line accent or a wash, which makes the screw heads stand out.
This is an accessory set, not a model of the vehicle. It is supplied unpainted; the base kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
