Candy Electric Blue is an acrylic modeling paint of the Candy range. The range is built for toning, not for covering: the paint is applied to a smooth glossy metallic base and that shows through it. The candy effect comes about, in which the finish jumps between a bright and a deep blue according to the angle of view.
Where electric blue comes in
A radiant blue is a typical shade of the custom scene. It is used on car bodies and tanks, on the covers of motorcycles, on gaming and sci-fi machinery, on the energy elements of figures and everywhere the paint is meant to look as if it is glowing. It combines well with chrome parts, because it supports their gloss.
For modelers of cars and motorcycles, for builders of sci-fi machinery and for figure painters who want strong light accents. It is applied mainly with an airbrush; a translucent coat will not hide the marks of a brush.
