A resin detail set from Black Dog intended for a model of the Soviet and Russian MiG-29 fighter in the 9-12 version, in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces and supplements selected areas of the base model with finely cast resin parts.
The set concentrates on the spine of the fuselage behind the cockpit and the related electronics - areas that tend to be simplified on the base model. The resin castings bring a crisper surface detail and a finer breakdown than injection-molded plastic captures easily.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding resin. Before gluing, check the fit against the fuselage and adjust the mating surfaces if necessary.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
