A set of waterslide decals with markings and national insignia for a model of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate fighter in the form of machines captured by the US Army Air Forces (USAAF), in 1:32 scale. The maker is the Czech company Art Scale. It offers an attractive alternative to the original Japanese markings and makes it possible to build the model in an unusual postwar evaluation finish with American insignia.
Several Ki-84 aircraft were captured after the end of the fighting in the Pacific and taken away for tests, where the USAAF evaluated and flew them. These machines carried a mixture of original elements and newly applied American national insignia, which makes them an interesting modeling subject.
