This self-adhesive tint film from SX-Art is intended for the clear parts of a model of the GAZ Tigr light armored car in the version carrying the Kornet anti-tank missile system, in 1:35 scale. In English the vehicle also appears in the transcription Tiger; it is the same car. The film is stuck straight onto the transparent moldings and replaces spraying clear tinting paints. It is not a kit: you need to have the model of the vehicle.
The GAZ Tigr is a Russian light armored car with all-wheel drive, used as a reconnaissance, liaison and transport vehicle. In the variant with the Kornet anti-tank missile system it carries the launcher on the roof of the hull and serves as a mobile anti-tank asset. The cab has small armored windows with thick laminated glass, which on the real vehicle has an unmistakable color cast.
First wash and degrease the clear parts. Lift the piece of film off with tweezers and do not touch the adhesive side with your fingers. Lay it on dry, check the position and then press it down with a soft stick from the center toward the edges, so that no air is left. It is easiest to work with the clear parts before they are glued into the hull, while they are accessible from both sides. Do not varnish over the film, as matte varnish would rob it of the gloss of glass.
