A clear film intended for a model of the Chinese ZTD-05 amphibious tracked fire support vehicle. It replaces the blind plastic glass of the vision ports and the optics, which could otherwise only be painted dark.
The film deals with the shine but not with the sharp edge between the glass and the surrounding armor. If you get a mask set for the same vehicle as well, you gain a precisely blanked frame and do not have to aim with a brush around the vision ports. The sequence is simple: mask and spray first, then take the mask off, clean the surface of any adhesive residue and only at the end seat the film. The two sets then do not get in each other's way and the result has a crisp transition without overpainted edges. The same logic works with tape cut by hand, it just takes more time.
The ZTD-05 is an amphibious tracked fire support vehicle of the Chinese army. It is built for an assault from the sea, has a hull shaped for water flow and a turret with a gun for direct fire support of landed units. It shares its structural basis with other vehicles of the same amphibious family.
